French violinist Angélique Martinet is an award-winning soloist, First Class Honours graduate of the Royal College of Music in London, where she studied with Emily Sun as a Musicians’ Company Lambert Scholar.

Recognised for her refined sound and magnetic stage presence, she has performed in notorious worldwide stages such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in France, Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Greece, Shanghai Symphony Hall in China, Harpa Music Hall in Iceland,…

Angélique collaborates regularly with leading ensembles including Les Siècles and the Orchestre National de Lille, and has recorded at the iconic Abbey Road and Angel Studios.

In 2024, she was named a D’Addario Orchestral Artist, joining an international roster of exceptional string players.

Angélique Martinet is the winner of the Vatelot-Rampal Competition 2018 and the Marie Cantagrill International Competition in 2019 in her category.

She played in various summer academies such as the Academy International d’été de Nice, the Mozarteum Internationale Sommerakademie and the Wiener Meisterkurse.

Angélique was awarded her Diploma of Musical Studies at sixteen while she was in France, studying with François-Marie Drieux, Stéphane Rougier, Philippe Graffin and Stéphane Tran Ngoc. During her studies at the RCM, she had the chance to play and learn among great musicians such as Vasko Vasilev, Francesca Dego, Eszter Haffner and Szymon Krzeszowiec.

Angélique is a versatile musician: she played in the Céleste Quartet for two years and performed at the memorial concert of Joseph Horovitz and the Sacconi Quartet Festival.

She has played in many orchestra projects in France and England with Arie Van Beek, Marc Minkowski, Renaud Capuçon, François Xavier Roth, Adrian Partington, Joanna Carneiro, Martyn Brabbins, Pierre Bleuse and Krzysztof Urbansky.
