Meet Angélique
A French violinist based in London
Award-winning violinist Angélique Martinet is a First Class Honours graduate of the Royal College of Music, where she studied with Emily Sun as a Musicians’ Company Lambert Scholar.
Known for her expressive artistry and elegant stage presence, she moves effortlessly between the concert platform, luxury events and creative collaborations, bringing a distinctive blend of classical excellence and contemporary refinement to every occasion.
Artistic Journey
Angélique’s career has taken her to internationally renowned venues including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, Shanghai Symphony Hall, and Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík.
A prizewinner of both the Vatelot-Rampal Competition and the Marie Cantagrill International Competition, she has performed alongside ensembles such as Les Siècles and the Orchestre National de Lille, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and Angel Studios, and was named a D’Addario Orchestral Artist in 2024.
Originally from France, she received her Diploma of Musical Studies at sixteen before continuing her training in London, learning from internationally respected musicians including François-Marie Drieux, Eszter Haffner, Vasko Vassilev and Francesca Dego.
Beyond the Stage
Today, Angélique enjoys a varied career that spans recital halls, private celebrations, luxury hotels, fashion events and commercial projects.
Her performances have been featured at venues including Claridge’s, The Lanesborough, The Chancery Rosewood, The Four Seasons, and Harry’s Bar, where she creates bespoke musical experiences that enhance the atmosphere of each event.
Alongside her performing career, Angélique collaborates with brands including Code8 Beauty, extending her artistic expression beyond the concert stage through carefully curated partnerships in fashion, beauty and the creative industries.
